New: facebook-style Poke module
ChrisKennedy - August 19, 2006 - 07:51
I was in a coding mood tonight so I made a module that implements facebook-style pokes between users, currently displayed on their account pages. Right now you can do regular pokes, return pokes, and hide em. The code's not too pretty at the moment but it appears to work and is pretty fun.
Any comments are appreciated: poke.module.

I was curious as well, so a little googling later, here is what I ran across:
Odd.
Hehehehe thats certainly
Hehehehe thats certainly weird. So you basically cyber poke them ? I'm trying to work out a practicle reason to use this module other than utter curiosity now :)
Hats of to the developer though, you've certainly proved original :)
Agreed
I don't know how original it can be to copy a feature from faceboo, but thanks :P
Really it's just a silly little feature that doesn't have a huge purpose. I suppose you could say it is another (somewhat random) way for users to interact with one another in an online community.
Well its something else to
Well its something else to give those pesky users :)
I wonder what happened to
I wonder what happened to that module. Is there anything with a similar functionality?
I want to poke someone but
