Hello I am in a interesting situation at the moment. I hope that someone can help me out.

Currently my website uses the AUDIO module, which is nice for integrated uploads, play counts and download links/counts.

However, Bluehost randomly decided we are not allowed to upload files over 50 MB through htttp. This makes it very difficult for me and my users because we are uploading dj mixes the rage from 120-160 MB. They suggest using FTP and I was able to do so successfully using the audio import feature. But Audio import only seems to be a administrator accessible privilege, even after approving other member roles in user permissions. What I really need is a solution that an admin does not have to be involved with. I just do not have the time to import people's audio for them on a regular basis.

I am playing with the idea of using the embedded media field as an option for users to just post a link to the file they upload through FTP. The field seems to easily attach to the audio module, however it it does not auto integrate at all.

I am open to moving everything over to its own embedded media filefield content type. Although, ultimately what I need is a way to post links to a large mp3 file that has a player, and offers a download link for the file and also displays play/download counts. (I am not really attached to the audio module's id3 tagging system, but if that was a possibility as well... great.... but not really needed.)

Is this possible? Can someone please offer some advice how to deal with this? Thanks for you time and consideration.
