Hi,

I need a link field that contains part of a URL like "https://www.example-external-site.co.za/bridge/Search?bbid=" as a default value that is either hidden or that can't be edited and when the user edits/adds a node they will need to add a number like "12345" to complete the URL.

I have thus far been able to add the part URL as a default value but I'd prefer to hide the default value or if easier, make the default value non-editable.

Anyone know how I can do this?

I've still not found an ideal solution for this... does anyone have an idea?

It's been four years since this bug, and no one's touched it. If you need to you can re-open this ticket, but I suspect you don't need this fixed anymore.

Hi,

Yes, the site that I needed this for is no longer around.

I actually can't remember if I ever solved this issue. I think I just had help text for the users to see how to copy and paste the URL from their external site's profile.
