Compute fields now work in views - however, if I make them sortable, and try to sort them, the data disappears.

BTW, thanks for this module - it's very useful, and should be part of core CCK.

It seems to work here. Are you using the latest version of computed field? If so, can you provide more details? When does the data disappear, when you load the view page, or when you click on the column header to sort by the computed field?

Using the latest compute & views, everything is now working fine.
Thanks very much - compute field is invaluable. I use it for saving taxonomy information to the node, so it can be accessed & sorted by views. I hope this eventually becomes part of CCK core.
