After installing this module , the Block is not enabled. I am not able to get the exact screen shot given in the module home page. Plz guide me in installing and configuring this module

Same here .. installed it but I can't see it anywhere :(
There is no block, no configuration or whatever ..

Did you figure something out?

I got caught out by this... you probably have item 2 or 3 incorrectly set from the list below from the project page...

* The user is not logged in

* The anonymous user does not have permission to subscribe to a newsletter (You want to better track subscriber information) this caught me out, it's counter intuitive, you must unset the access permission for anonymous users

* The Simplenews Register module is enabled and the newsletter is set so the registering user must opt out.

* The Simplenews block configuration is set to show the signup form
