I like this module, but think it could maybe be even better. In Joomla, there is a bot called AllVideos (http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/li...) that allows users to simply embed a video by placing its id inside some special tags, eg. {youtube}374536{/youtube}. Wouldn't it be possible to make this module do the same, by allowing us administrators to define what embedding code goes before and after the actual video id itself ?

In my opinion, it is much more flexible to simply let any object, embed or script tag be used, as long as the security measures are met. After all, media sharing services are springing up like wildflowers, and would be quixotic to try to keep up with them all. Besides, it is actually easier for Joe-no-html to copy the entire tag as provided by the service rather than have to worry about what the unique id is and what the tag syntax is.

gregglesjackdaw - I imagine that if you provided a patch that achieved this and agreed to maintain it that Robert would accept it. Especially if that piece of functionality could easily be removed...
Alternatively, you could provide it as a separate module.
