I have some issue in use the featured content slider , I want to create slideshow like www.thejakartapost.com , and after I view page source in drupal , it is using module featured content slider , and I installed the module and I have enabled the module , but after I use the module and follow the instruction like this :

1. Create a content type called Name: "Featured", type: 'featured'
2. Go to admin/settings/content_slider
3. Enter the content type 'featured' in the source for block 1
4. Go to admin/build/block and place the block: 'Content Slider 1' anwhere you like.
5. Additionally, theme the featured node by creating a separate node-featured.tpl.php

It is doesn't appear the slideshow like the example , How to solve the problem?? it is bug or something like that, anyone can solve the problem???

Thanks for the tutorial, it is just that things are not all clear to me..

The only options I see here (admin/settings/content_slider) are:
enable fade (on/off radio button)
fade factor:
glide animation duration (in milliseconds):
behavior of pagination links to reveal the slides: "click" or "mouseover":
No possibility to 3. Enter the content type 'featured' in the source for block 1

Then
5. Additionally, theme the featured node by creating a separate node-featured.tpl.php
In which folder this node-featured.tpl.php has to go?

I am just wondering seeing as this was originally created over a year ago, and no-one has actually responded, whether it may have something to do with the order in which modules are installed?

It does seem interesting though that the field to select the content type does not apear which is kind uf fundimental to the whole module working?
