Right now one can attach only one alfresco item to a content type at once. Can we have multiple browse and a single upload ? So that we can attach multiple alfresco documents to one drupal node without again editing and attach one more.

Yeah that would be a useful improvement. It is necessary to improve the user interface based on the upload module (with AHAH more button). Patches welcome ;)

In addition I've added new alfresco_field module on 1.x branch (6.x-1.x-dev) which defines a CCK field type for referencing an Alfresco node from another node, with multiple multiple alfresco attachments support.

I have downloaded the 6.x-1.x-dev, I can see the field module in the folder but it won't show in my module list?

edit: my bad, the alfresco module was in the wrong folder, fail (even tho I could see the other alfresco modules, but I just uninstalled the previous version so it could have been that)
