With the recent changes to Facebook's API, etc, and the lack of any recent non-dev updates for somewhat major issues...is this module circling the drain? No offense, I'm just trying to determine if I should look elsewhere. Thanks.

Personally, I have moved on to Drupal for Facebook, even if it's a bit "heavier" than what I wanted. It has its own bugs of course, but it's being actively worked on and maintained.

I see there is no "recommended" version. If this is maintained, and if beta9 is recommended, please mark it recommended.

I see that the maintainer does not seem to have answered this issue, so this module may again be abandoned. True?

I really don't like the other module, much to big and complicated, also requires modification of settings.php.
This one just does the job correcly, hope it is maintained.

I didnt figure out yet how to use new fb api.
New fb api declares that Facebook Connect is outdated technology.
Fbconnect is based on Facebook Connect. There should be another module that will use new api
