I'd really like to have a footnotes button on tinymce - it would make it much easier for users to reference material as many of them get confused about how to use the footnotes module i have activated on my test site. Could the footnotes module be given a button and integrated as a plugin for users to:
- highlight a setcion of text
- click a footnote button
- and then fill in reference information in a popup
I'm afraid i'm not a coder (yet... i see it coming lol) so i think this is a bit to ambitious for me to attempt.
Is anyone else interested in something like this?

I like the idea of integrating tinymce with the footer module. This would be a great feature. Easily providing references inside of text is important in order to increase the credibility of your contributors opinion. This is important on the web since many postings are perceived with a very critical eye by the reader.
