Amaranth Games is looking for a developer who has experience with Drupal to help build an interactive game website. The goal of this project will be to add a gold system to Drupal, modify the default Drupal Forum, and modify one of the Gallery addons.

Yes, I have a design document and mock-up for the project. If you are interested, please email me and I will send these items to you.

As for the gold system... Each time a user posts in the forum, they will get a gold coin. They can use the gold coins to buy virtual items from a shop on the site. Think of Neopets. No real money or items will be exchanged. When the user buys an object, it will appear in their profile. This is sort of like a mini RPG game on a website.

If you're offering that much money, would it be possible to use, say, vB Drupal and vBulletin? That way, you could use an ingrained gold system or even an RPG set-up, and get better forums, too.

As for a working "gold" system- try using the Points module that Drupal offers. What would you need for the gallery modification?
