Hi I have the newest version of drupal after fully upgrading from the older versions, I think the new version acts alot better. I am trying to set up a page in a catergory I have.

This is an image to help me explain the problem

http://www.mkpitstop.co.uk/1234.gif

on the image with the numbers is what I have done and trying to do:

1 = catergories > computers then hardware (this is where I want to place my page first)

2 = all my catergories under catergories.

3 = When I go to make a page this is what I get where I can pick witch catergory to use, they all say None

What could I have done for this to not work, the reson I added the catergory Hardware is to see if that was the problem but it didnt make any differences.

Can some one please help me out on this?

Thanks

If I understand your question, I think you need to add some terms to the categories is all.

You might add the terms: hardware, software, troubleshooting, etc to the computers category.

Or you might even restructure your current categories into one.

Website Topics (category)
-Business (term)
-Computers (term)
--Hardware (term whos parent is Computers)
--Software (term whos parent is Computers)
--etc (term whos parent is Computers)
-Console (term)
-Graphics (term)
-Webmasters (term)

Ok that seems to have sorted it in a way, I tryed it with business.

if I click the link business on the left side it doesnt show what is in that catergory, but if I click the link under the subject that is the catergory then it shows all the subjects in that catergory.

see this is the bisiness catergory
http://www.mkpitstop.co.uk/?q=node/5

and this is one of the catergory links under a subject
http://www.mkpitstop.co.uk/?q=taxonomy/term/1

I did tests to show you, so what could I have done wrong now with that not to show in the catergory link?

Just because your menus are named the same as the terms doesn't mean they will be linked in some way. There may be a module for creating menu items out of terms. Or you could edit the menu items so that they point to the term rather than a page.

For example, your Business menu item links to ?q=node/5, which is a page. You could change it to link to the Business term instead. ie: ?q=taxonomy/term/1.

This might not be the best way. Maybe someone more experienced can offer a suggestion.

All I want is to have different subjected pages under each catergory I pick for these pages
