The module now seems to show the "Delete" links for child nodes regardless of whether the acting user has the proper permissions to delete nodes of that content type.

It would be better to show it only when the acting user has the actual permissions to delete nodes of that content type.

pescetti: when you check the delete checkbox. It does not actually delete the node, it just deletes the nodereference with the parent where you created the new node. So the node itself still exists.
