I think this should be stated somewhere:

"To use, create an attachment for a view. Navigate to Attachment Settings > Position, then check the box for "Show only on the first page".

However, even after I did that, it still didn't work...I guess that's another issue (#922160: Module Does Not Perform It's Job).

By looking at the code, I found that you also need to "Inherit pager", in the Attachment settings section.
