I'm experiencing an issue with my (unfortunately) rather old Drupal installation. "Suddenly" I get the error message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function setPlatform() on a non-object in /home/<sitename>/public_html/gallery2/init.inc on line 60
I suspect that Gallery2 together with some configuration change my web host has made is causing this. My web host is not being communicative.
If I rename gallery.module (modules/gallery.module) so it isn't found, I can see the site, but apparently that breaks CAPTCHA or Textimage (or both), so I can't log on.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Fresh install of 4.7.2 (yeah, I know, ancient...) over the existing one (with backup, yes)? Any lines anywhere I can comment out to disable CAPTCHA for the login on the front page? Stuck in Catch22 territory now, not being able to log on to disable CAPTCHA since CAPTCHA isn't working...
I know this posting has a certain "doesn't care about his site enough to keep it updated" look to it, and I plead guilty to at least not keeping it updated (it's been used, but not admined a lot. I have two kids now...). Still hope someone will share info if they have it. :)
Cheers,
Tore
