When I change the field for "Node: Post date" in my Atom display to custom and 'c' for the atom format, I only see a 'c' in the template. The template should be showing an atom date or at least what's set through the view. Thanks for advice on getting formatted fields to appear.

This is fixed in 6.x-1.0-beta1. You set the format of the date you want through the standard Views UI - the module no longer attempts to automatically set a particular format for dates in an Atom document, which caused the problem.

Is this still the case? When selecting XML as the feed type, there are no settings to pick Atom, OPML, or Raw.
