Issue Summary
Please make a dev release to support downloading with drush.
From the commandline prompt:
There is no recommended release for project galleryformatter on [error]
Drupal 6.x. Ask the maintainer to create a release in order to be
compatible with drush and the drupal.org security broadcast system. A
development snapshot release is sufficient.

Drush gives you that message because currently we don't have a recommended release of the module. This is for a good reason, since we are stil testing out things, making the code stable etc.
I will make a release and set it to recommended as soon as we have it tested and/or troubleshooted in other browsers, and the main style is stabilized. I won't make a release just to have to make people upgrade two days after.
If you want to help get us there faster, you are more than welcome to help test this in other browsers if you arent a coder, making sure to document what happens, or to review the code if you are a developer.
