I went to my site this morning. For a change, I wasn't logged in. I saw what everyone else sees. The font sizes are off, the navigation block isn't supposed to be there, the following blocks are missing: Areas of Expertise, Resources , Polls / Surveys. This is supposed to be an article where "page not found" is showing.

Here is the catch --- when I log in, the blocks and missing article appear.

If you are in the mood to lend a hand, pls go to http://idcminnovations.com and take a look.

Any suggestions?

thanks
Cindy

It seems a CSS problem. No changes? No backup?

Since I can see some blocks, nostly likely you have not enabled anonymous users to view content. Look under administer -> access control. For 'anonymous user', make sure under 'Node module' 'access content' is checked.

The first thing I looked at was permissions but didn't "see" the problem. As I typed this reply I recalled that changed the "anoymous user" on the settings screen. I just put it back to "anonymous" and tada, it worked.

Lesson learned - If you change the "anonymous user" field on the admin>setting page, you need to create that user with the permissions required to see what they need to see.

I changed it to an admin user name that had been later blocked so technically "the permissions" were messed up but for a different reason. grrrr

thank you for the inspiration!!
