there is an og_actions module that might be instructive. there are also subscribe/unsunscribe hooks

Is it possible to have some more details about how to create an action to change a user role??I wish I could changea users role after for examplea certain amout of nodes published or points gained with userpoints for example!

I'm willing to help sponsor financially the developement of this feature!! I need it a lot as well:

Here are the features I need:

actions to convert to a new role after a certain number of points
certain amount of time
certain actions like posting X nodes of a specified content type (and have them published, etc)

Also, if a user chooses 'Yes' to a custom field inn their profile, a role is assigned?
