The last official release of the 6.x-2.x branch of Notifications Add-ons is 2.0-beta2 which was released more than a year ago. Now where 4.0 is on the way, wouldn't you want to release the final 2.0 version, so the 2.x branch of the corresponding modules is complete?

Not really. This is mostly a sandbox for modules where all contributions are welcomed.

Now if anyone wants to have a stable release of any of them, we need a committed maintainer and a new project for it.

Don't expect stable release for 2.x nor for 4.x modules here.

OK, if it's the current policy of this module to never see a final version, what about releasing at least 2.0-beta3?

Could you please just release what there is currently in 6.x-2.x-dev as a 6.x-2.0-beta3 (or whatever version you like) so we just don't need to rely on dev anymore?
