I'm setting up a new (and my first) Drupal powered site and I'm having issues with the forums & organic groups. I set up the forums originally in 2 containers but I wanted to limit access to them based on groups (love the OG concept, btw). The problem is now that I've set up the groups, my forums are gone.
I can't even make the forums visible if I move them out of the group into a seperate container.

i see the forum
I see one forum. Is it just some forums that aren't displaying? and others are?
And hence you see my problem
And hence you see my problem ;) There should be two. The one you see is the only one that will display. I have two in that container...yet only one shows up. o.O

What is your exact forum setup, moudles installed, and OG setup. Every detail, if you could.
There is something out of wack that is getting overlooked.
exact same problem
Hello -- I am experiencing the exact same problem. I have 8 groups (og_groups) and have 8 forum containers, each with one forum ("Generic"). When adding a new forum to one of the groups, it does not appear on the forum page nor the post new forum topic. It does however, appear in the advanced search. Any ideas?
Take care

same problem
I'm experiencing the same problem. New forums are created and can be managed on the admin/forum page but not displayed on the /forum page nor can posts be submitted to them. I've set up the access permissions - but this happens even when I'm logged in as user 1.
The modules installed are (other than the usual):
* cck
* contemplate
* views
* panels
* og
* og forums
* og mandatory group
* event
* ejournal
* biblio
* path
* pathauto
Can't quite see which one would be the problem.
