Zilker Ventures is a web publisher located in Austin, TX, with several web properties built in Drupal. We are looking for a Drupal developer who can come to our office, and work with our web development associate to finish some outstanding projects.
This position requires an estimated 10-20 hours a week, but depending on your skill level, could turn into a full-time position with benefits.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum eight years experience with HTML, XML, CSS, PHP and LAMP environments
• Minimum five years experience with Drupal, jQuery and Javascript/AJAX
• Strong experience coding Drupal themes based on design comps
• Strong experience with Drupal module analysis, installation and configuration
• Strong experience coding custom Drupal modules
• Experience with SVN, Git or equivalent version control software
• Experience scoping requirements and providing accurate time estimations
• Experience building/managing websites with a team
• Strong experience with W3C compliant XHTML/CSS cross-browser coding
• Solid understanding of SEO
• Portfolio of sites you’ve built from scratch that we may review
Desired Skills:
• Analytical, focused, detail-oriented
• Train and work with Web Development Associate
• Audit current structure of website and give recommendations of how to better accomplish our goals
• Build custom Drupal modules
• Build jQuery elements
• Must be proficient with Photoshop or Fireworks
