Original author doesn't display

Hi,
this seems to be a problem for more people than me.
The name of the original author of a feed doesn't display at all, instead my name appears. When I blank my name in the settings, "anonymous" is displayed as author information instead. Not good!
I tried writing the name of the source in the "original author" box. Not only didn't it display, it had vanished the next time I edited the feed settings. Then I tried to paste the source into the "author info" box, but that didn't work since the feed isn't a user of my Drupal installation. I do not want to make phony accounts!
If it's impossible to get the name (or source) of the author to display, is there at least a way to remove the author info? Do I have to make a special node template or something?
Unfortunately I need a solution pretty fast... please.

I'm using Drupal 4.7.3 with the latest CVS of Aggregator2.
