I'm having a strange problem with purl – when I'm in a space and want to come back out by clicking on the homepage link - or another primary link - it still thinks that I'm in that space.

Example: I'm in a group space at [site url]/london and I want to go to another top level section at [site url]/about-us. If I click the link in primary links, it takes me to [site url]/london/about-us

Obviously I don't want that to happen. Is there any way of stopping it?

Thanks!

Yes, there are a few ways of stopping it. The most straightforward is to change the behavior for specific menu items in the UI. Goto `admin/build/menu` click on `primary links` and then edit an single menu item. You'll see a "Persistent URL behavior" field which let's you disable this behavior for any menu item.

Setting this to fixed, but feel free to set it back to active if you have more questions.

@brunorios1: Please explain the problem a bit more if it's still an issue; steps taken, expected results, and results.
You might be better served opening a new issue, as this is fairly different than the original post.
