I'm not sure what happened, but this just started on my local box. I did update Panels, Chaos Tools, EmField, and Views Slideshow. I don't know if that affects OpenLayers, but I have lost all layers in the system. Going to the Layers tab shows no layer descriptions, but does show a list of Export | Clone links
These errors are in the logs:
Error: Layer Google Maps Normal is unavailable because its layer type or the module that provides its layer type is missing.
Notice: Layer does not have a projection set.

I have the same problem when i did update, Chaos Tools, Panels
Comment #2
tmcw commentedCan you try clearing your caches? And what version of ctools did you update to?
tmcw commentedThis is likely an incompatibility with the latest CTools release - this is serious problem: #711664: Make global plugins definition hooks optional

isaakordonez commentedI did install Chaos Tools 6.x-1.4, and OpenLayers 6.x-2.0-alpha6,

tmcw commentedOkay: try updating to 2.x-dev. I think that the fix simply didn't get into alpha6.

gmclelland commentedworked for me, thanks.

tmcw commentedGreat, just rolled an alpha7 release of OpenLayers - this includes the CTools fix.
jaarong commentedI get a file not found when I try to download alpha7
Comment #13
tmcw commentedDrupal.org is now correctly packaging the release.
