We need a fix for the trackback.module to filter spam using akismet... the old spam.module doesn't really do the job, let's too much thru...

A few days ago I posted some hints here:

Posting here would allow me to follow any progress easier.
If there's anything I can do in the akismet module to help join both worlds, please let me know.

Markus, I replied there too...
I get the feeling the original author of "trackback" gives doesn't really care about spam filtering.
I would be interested to implement the stuff myself - with your help from the akismet side
