I have 2 separate courses which are actually group nodes. This is because I would like separate and private courses for each group.
In Course A I created a topic 1. In Course B I attempt to create a topic 1 but I get "The topic number can't be duplicated!". How can I make it so that the different courses are still able to have topic 1, topic 2, etc.

bryzo commentedI think I am having an error which is related to this issue.
When I attempt to create a new resource for a topic, I click Add Resource then select a topic. Then I click Add Resource and get this error:
"You must select at least one item for this group of options."

imobachgs commentedHi bryzo,
I think I've found the problem. Resources are existing nodes that you add to a course. When you click on 'Add resource' you must see a list of eligible nodes to add as resources to the course (and below that list you could see the 'topics' select box).
I guess that you're getting an empty list. It could be because:
a) You haven't selected any content type that could be used as 'Classroom resource' (check Classroom settings).
b) There's no node of the selected content type.
I hope it helps. If you're in doubt, just ask me.
Anyway, I'll mark this issue as 'active' because it has no sense to show an empty list. We'll fix that.
Thank you!

bryzo commentedSweet. Thats the issue (b).
When I create a resource node, will it only allow me to add the resource to courses which I am apart of? Or will it allow me to add it to any course.

imobachgs commentedHi Bryzo,
Excuse me again for taking so long to answer your question :(
It's supposed to let you add the resource to any course (if you're teacher of that course).

Imo
