plopescHi!
I don't know what are you talking about. If you are talking about the node creation page map:
Is it possible to change the default zoom level? ->YES
Is it possible to change the default view type to Hybrid? -->As soon as possible
Is it possible to change the default "center" map to a new location? -->YES
If you're talking about other map, you should give more information in your messages
thanks

tko commentedHi thanks for your reply. After reading over my initial description you are right its very thin :D
Okay basically I'm talking about a Google Map (added via CCK) in the node.
It only allows me to enter a point but doesn't save the zoom level that I set. It would be nice if when you're creating the node it remembers the zoom level that you set after adding a point. How can I do that?
Is there a manual way I can force Hybrid by default?
The default center of the map in a node takes me to Spain. How can I change that?

plopescHi, thanks for your interest about the module.
I will answer your 3 questons:
1.-If you have only a point, when you display the map, it is centered in your point, and takes the same zoom level that you have in the default map. When there are more than one point over the map, the map displays all the points with the best zoom level.
2.- I'm working on this behavior and I will include it in the module as soon as possible. While, you can look #797144: Map settings are not stored
3.-You can center the default map where do you want and with your favourite zoom. Your default map will be displayed with the same bounding box that you select in the field configuration page. The bounding box is saved like other map parameters as stroke color or marker icon.

tko commented1. Thanks thats fixed it for me.
2. Hope you can get that going sooner rather than later :)
3. Unfortunately the default center does not save!
tko commentedWhat I mean in point 3. is that when you click the "center" button to reset to default location (the button in between the 4 directional arrows) it always takes you back to Spain.

plopescHi
Functionality required in point 3 is not included yet. I note, and put it in my list!
Thanks

RobertoGA commentedOnly indicate, to fix the initial zoom, the defaults map is the map that seen in the geo-field in this content type. I've been looking for 20 minutes!
Thanks for this module, is great.

mh-1 commentedHi Pablo,
is there any progress in clicking the "center" button of a google map to reset to default location brings you back to the initial bounding values of the given content (geocoded value from a cck-filefield) instead of taking you to spain? (I like Spain but my visitors look for infos about the Lake of Constance in www.bodenseetouren.de ;-)
