Flash Node Generating Thumbnails of 0 kb in size. What should I do?

Version 5.x-2.7, the most recent release. I was wondering why some thumbnails that are generated when creating a .flv node are 0 kb in side and cannot be displayed? Am I missing something? It has worked fine in the past, but only recently started doing this seemingly at random.
