I went to settings/maintainance and set it to site offline. Until now, I was always able to get the login screen by entering /user after the domain name.

Now, it doesn't work and I get a 505 error screen.

Is there a way somehow through the back end cpanel, I can turn the site to online again?

Thanks..gray97

Have you tried logging in with the first user's ID/password?

The problem is the "offline come back later screen" keeps coming up. ( I set the status to offline in maint and logged out ) I need the login block to show. I tried the /user at the end of the domain but that doesn't work and I get a 505 error page.

I was just wonder where the php tag is for this offline/ online setting. Using Drupal 473.

Hmm strange, I have a site which is offline (Drupal 4.7) and I can go to /user - does http://designgeek.com/?q=user work?

Thanks a lot! finally was able to log in. I know it was there all the time but used the: /?q=user instead of just: /user. Funny though, I always used just the /user and it worked before. Maybe they changed something on the server. Thanks for the link.
