nags338228, greetings! The banner can be placed and without the module in what your problem consists?

Do you mean a rotating banner - one that cycles through the images? Or more like an advert banner?

If it's just a static banner (eg a picture) the 1st comment is right - you dont need another module, just create a new block and put an image in it.
