Automatic inscription in a group after the purchase of a product

Yes, that is what this module does -- makes a user who purchases a product a member of any group(s) you add to the product.

I think the OP is wanting something a little more automated. Say a node is both an ubercart product and an organic group, buying the node should add the user to the group. What is the best way to do this with your module?

It seems like the module only does this manually. In order to do this now, I think you have to create a product/og node, edit it to add a feature called 'Group subscription', set the SKU to the node you just created and set the Group name to the node you just created, then set any of the appropriate check boxes. Is there a more direct route maybe using conditional actions?

This is a lot of work when every one of your products is a group (like on the page I am trying on the page I am trying to build now). I think the OP wants to have the product feature automatically be setup to subscribe the user to the node purchased. That way if a node is both an ubercart product and an organic group, buying the node adds the user to the group with essentially just enabling the module.

Maybe if there was an option under Group name that was 'this node' or something like that. Although this seems more like a per-content type setting.

I'm looking for the same functionality, in order to automate the group assign process in feature tab of the product. When a product is treated as a group node, then the name of newly created product and group is always same. It should be obvious that the product should be associated to that particular group. I want to remove this extra step of manually assigning group name. Is there any way to do this?
