Is it possible to extend the length of the url field. Google books url is chopped off.

Oh, and it's so close too, 264 characters into a 256 character wide column :-(

I've done a little research and although there is no set limit on the length of a URL, it seems that anything over about 2000 characters becomes problematic, so how about something around that size?

personnally having too long URL is a problem. the theme design is broken. i am using minnelli. is there a way to resolve this? maybe using an icon instead of the actual url?
exemple: http://biblio.physiotek.com/biblio/magnetic_resonance_imaging_lumbar_spi...

just noted that when i use the pubmed tool to import articles, the full url is not shown, just like i would like my other publications. so i tried to modify the data, removing the url from url box and adding the url to the custom1 box, just like the pubmed imports. but this is not working. is there an other way i can acheive this? thanks!
