appended you will find a runnable development version for D6.
Some work was done to split off the existing functionalities to get a set of API function.
For details read the README also appended at this post.

Is this progressing at all?

schildi’s picture

it looks that the maintainer is looking very seldom at this module.

Double-checking, it looks like there 6.x dev branch was last updated in July.

You are right, there is an official D5 dev-version and also a D6 dev-version (not shown on the project page) uploaded in July. But I got no feedback for my offered D6 code. So, what now?

I will send a message to anarchivist

Well, you could attempt to contact the maintainers about becoming a co-maintainer. Then you would have commit access to move the project along.

I don't have a compelling enough need for this module to really pitch in just to get it to stable D6.

I see. My initial goal was to make the module available at D6 and also NOT to be a maintainer. But functionalities were a bit limited for my use cases so I made some extensions/changes. Let's see what anarchivist will answer.

Did you check one of the D6 versions?

I responded to schildi via email. I've been very busy the last few months, and am no longer working for my employer that was looking into the use of this module. However, I will evaluate this within the next few weeks. Did you base this on the existing D6 version in CVS?

Mark,

my work was uploaded in May and based on the D5 version. And - sorry - I also didn't recognize your D6-dev version since it did not appear directly on the project page. But I will have a look at it.
