Issue Summary
Hi
i use this module to apply preset for the uploaded images to the gallery lightboxes
So IC would create 2 images : 1 thumbnail and 1 bigger , the THB is right but the bigger is not resized..and is still in the original size...i've tried with GAIC preset and custom preset, it's the same issue.

Hello aipes,
if you are using ImageCache your path should contain the preset name.
The currently path to the original is:
http://www.example.fr/sites/lycee-brise-lames.fr/media/gallery_assist/1/...
normaly the module ImageCache build the path as follow:
http://www.example.fr/sites/lycee-brise-lames.fr/media/imagecache/[PRESET-NAME]/gallery_assist/1/gallery_assist4/sortie-auchan-1.jpg
you can get your preview preset at:
http://www.lycee-brise-lames.fr/sites/lycee-brise-lames.fr/media/imageca...
Is is a strange behavior. I will install on this days a multisite-drupal to test what hapen in so a case.
Please check your settings, select the presets again and save all.
Can you give me information about your installation, it is a multisite installation?

PS
You can enable the param of the prettyPhoto "Allow resize". It is not the solution because the originals are very big but you can avoid the current super overlay effect.

i've re-install the IC module after selecting assigments in GAssist...and the presets where created...after i've recreated image galleries , but the preview doesnt still work...so i'think it's a problem of step to enables modules, and IC must be enable after the GAssist legacy modules...
my install is multisite multidomain on OVH server...this site is not the main domain of the hosting.perhaps it's an origin of the problem...
i've some trouble with the LB basic too, so i've choosen pretty photo...
so after these manipulations, I've my rights folders created wjth the name like : gallery_assist-page_sortie_actions-preview-550 but IC doesnt create the subfolder gallery_assist>1>gallery_assist4 like it does in the preset folder for thumbnail ; gallery_assist-page_sortie_actions-thumbnail-150

a last question about this issue.
where you have installed IC? I am not sure, if the module ImageCache can manages presets folders on a multisite installation from the primary domain.
In my test have installed IC on each extrasite and it works.

so, I've this tree folder for my install :
main domain with home/www , in it i've the drupal folders and files , then i've the "sites" folders , in it :
/www/sites/all
/www/sites/default
/www/sites/lycee-brise-lames.fr
then for /www/sites/all :
/www/sites/all/media
/www/sites/all/modules
/www/sites/all/themes
/www/sites/all/temp
for /www/sites/NDD.fr:
/www/sites/NDD.fr/media
/www/sites/NDD.fr/themes
/www/sites/NDD.fr/modules
/www/sites/NDD.fr/temp
+ settings.php
all the additionnal modules are in /www/sites/all/modules then enabled in each drupal sites separatly,each sites have is proper DB,so all is separated,only modules and core are shared.
the strange thing is that IC create the THB well, in the right folder, but it can not do the same for prev...

I must install a multisite to test, find and fix the bug.
Crazy is that I not have the same problem.

so i went to http://multisite.puntolatinoclub.de admin; i've updated the GAssist and i've some info in the right place..the system files is different than mine site/all/media instead of sites/default/files...
then :
whats the Gallery Assist Item module ? i dont find it...
i already look for differences..keep in touch

one thing more, when i disable/enable the GA IC, presets are duplicated in IC module preset list...so i think there is a trouble there no ?
GA IC seem not to check if preset already exist...

One more thing, if i dont go to the admin/build/imagecache/ path to "activate" the preset whith the folder creation on the server, the preset will not be able to run...so i must "activate" it before using the preset whith GAIC...

news about this ? still have issues with no preset application to gallerie...
EDIT: in waiting, i've set tup a maximum image size in each assignment, so image is at max, to a display size not to big..

Hello aipes I have to investigate direct in your site.
Can you create a temporally admin account for me? So I can see what I can do for this and the other issues you have posted in the last time. I can't reproduce the issues in my test sites.

how you think I can help you with a visiteur account???
You are using pathauto, how you think I can investigate when I can't follow the paths. I have created a gallery but not got the upload formular, only the I-FUpload form.
I have not idea how I can help you under this conditions.

which permissions do you need ? tell me and i go to allow you...
thumbs and preview well created but lightboxes not apply...its crazy ! this for admin, if its an user , images are not added, and nothing created..permissions seem to be good...if you can to look at them, on brise lames website..

Changing state, i've splitted both websites on separate housing...so i've not multisite install...but a probleme according to moving a website to a new housing

ok i've reinstalled GA legacy and IC..so it works better...a little bug is on the maximum size of image file, if i put 2MO limit, the system refuse to upload the file, accoding to, but doesnt display a message about the oversize of the file..
