What exactly disappeared? What is "content type page"?

If you mean you exported the content type and then pages based on it dissapear.... i had a similar problem where i did an export and it stated that the content type had been updated (although it was only meant to export!) when I edited the type i found that some of the basic options had changed, for example Published was unticked, and Comments were enabled although I set them disabled.
I created a page based on this and couldn't figure out why it wasn't displaying - it was not being published by default! Had to manually fix the content type settings.
Must be a bug in CCK content copy. Hope this helps.
