How to avoid all weblinks to be listed in the main directory page?

I'm pretty sure I have the same issue of

I installed version 2006/08/01 of Links Package, created the taxonomy and all the vocabularies and terms and submitted almost 300 weblinks, each in the proper (desired) place.

I activated the "Enable weblinks directory" checkbox and, when going to links/weblink, I have the table with all the categories, but also all my weblinks nodes listed till the bottom of the page.

Is there a way to avoid this listing on the main page, or at least to limit it to x entries and then creating other pages?

I checked twice my links settings options and searched all over Drupal's forums, but have just been able to find the issue I linked to at the beginning of this topic.
