I am trying to send an RSS feed from our site to FeedBlitz for newsletters. It worked the first time last week just fine. But this week, the feed is full of html special characters such as – and " 6 hours in I am no closer to a solution.
Feedblitz says the feed isn't valid because there is unencoded html inside the decription tags. I have rebuilt this feed innumerable times. It shows OK in e.g. IE or Outlook, but it does not show OK on the Feedblitz site; it does have unencoded html inside the description tags, and therefore (apparently) it shows the coded special characters on the page and in the newsletters.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
