Hi
I installed Drupal and it is working rather well, but I'm having some issues with my frontpage.
My site is here (it's a testsite for the time being) http://gic.vsbnet.be/ (in Dutch)
As you can see, there are a number of content items on the frontpage, which I can remove by unchecking the 'on frontpage' option. But all items have some properties published (author, timestamp).
I would prefer to set up the site like spreadfirefox.com, with a fixed frontpage that has no meta-data on it.
Then, if you click the navigation items, you should go to specific items which may have metadata.
If you click home, you should go back to the frontpage with the fixed text on it.
How can I do this?
Thanks for any help.

how about toying with "default front page" in the settings?
Hello nocturn,
It sounds like you should be able to achieve what you want if you change the value of "default front page" (Go to "Administer" then "Settings", under "General Settings"). If you change that to a static page that you create beforehand, that may do the trick if I understand your request well.
