Sunny Day Web Design is an almost finished Drupal site I have built for myself to showcase my new Drupal skills and maybe generate some clients who love Drupal as much as I do!
Please go easy on me! The site still has a few revisions left :)
Comments
Slides go vertical with FF noscript
The horizontal slides display vertically and hide text when the NoScript extension is active in FF 3.5.5. You may want to consider this a curiosity rather than a gotcha.
Good catch!
Thanks for the heads up on that one :) another bug to add to my ever increasing list. Lol thanks again :)

Misc. observations
Contact form:
Why not add a field for a question?
Footer links:
Contact link broken.
Facebook and Twitter links
Why not connect to your accounts? (assuming you have FB and Twitter accounts)
Design and UI are very attractive. Grade A
Re: Misc. observations
Thanks for that :) I think adding a question field on the contact form is a brilliant idea, thanks.
I am currently in the process of setting up twitter/facebook accounts, should be done soon and I will get all of those other fixes sorted today. Thanks again for the feedback and especially for the kind words regarding the UI :)

Hi Arshad,
Tricky one to be honest, I am not sure whether I will support IE6 or not. I will probably cave in when the site gets nearer to completion and include IE6 specific CSS. But for now I am rather conflicted lol. I wish IE6 would go away so we can all move on, but I also see the importance of supporting IE6.
Having said all that, I have just had a peek in IE6 myself and it truly does look awful ;) I think I am going to have to do some .png stuff at the very least!
Cheers :)

I personally think you should not give a damn about how your site looks on IE 6 now. ;) I think it's time to move on and we, Drupal Developers can take the lead in moving away from bad technology.
What do you think? i've stopped developing for IE 6 for some time now.

The problem is always going
The problem is always going to be that clients will want it working in IE6. They don't care about the technologies behind the scenes, they just know that their potential visitors use IE6 and that the site therefore has to work in it.
Many potential clients will be stuck using IE6 at work as well (due to the IT infrastructure you tend to get in large public and private sector organisations), so you really do need to pay at least some attention to your flagship site under IE6. Which is a shame, obviously :)

That is one fun site! Colorful and lively. Until you get to your tracker http://www.sunnydaywebdesign.com/tracker - now that tracker table is ugly!
Otherwise, I like the design!

lol, eeewwww you're right that is an ugly
tracker page! Not got to theming the tracker yet, many other aspects have not yet been fully themed. Just the basic content types so far. Hoping to have the whole site wrapped up over the next week or so. Thanks for the kind words re: the rest of the site. :)

Thanks again to everyone for
the feedback and kind words, it's great that the Drupal community is so positive. I look forward to giving something back in the future (When my skills improve!) I have themed the tracker now, http://www.sunnydaywebdesign.com/tracker looks a bit less ugly sister and a bit more Cinderella, just hope the server does'nt crash before midnight lol :)
Thanks again all :)

A great design. And the tracker page is not that bad (or it has been redesigned before I read this topic).
Anyway, a thumb up.

Thanks a lot for the nice
Thanks again the nice comments everyone :) As for the tracker, @tuthanh yeah I had done some primary theming on it by the time you saw it. Man it was ugly before lol :)
Well I finally have my server back up after a week of downtime, just hope that I have solved all the stupid server problems now.

You both make
perfectly valid comments, unfortunately as Drupal developers we are kinda stuck in the middle of all this. But I think that as developers we hold the key to actually changing things. If a client wants support for ie6 then they should pay extra. After all it takes us a lot more effort to get things to render correctly in IE6. If every designer/dev charged for IE6 I think that you would find that IE6 support dwindled to negligible before very long. But as a collective group are we united enough to do this...? I doubt we are, but I for one have made the descision that I will not support IE6 for any of my sites anymore.
