Looks like that Internet Explorer 7 will not be using Web standards like other browsers, after all.

I can't try it yet. I think I will not ever be able to, cause I'm on a Mac.

In the event that a page is not compatible with IE7 who should we blame?

If someone complains to me I will have to tell him to use either Safari, Firefox, Opera, Camino or iCab. And at one of my client, they are still using Windows 2000 and don't plan to move up to XP and IE 7.

Let's just hope that Internet Explorer 8 will be using standards.

IE7 can use css2 selectors so most hacks that fix stupid things in ie6 don't work for ie7 and unfortunately even if ie7 fixed some bugs there's a long way to go until they will finish it ;).

I do hope you are installing ie7rc1.
Go to Internet Options
Advanced Tab
Click the RESET button. Should fix it. This was the cure for 5 systems since updating to RC1.
