I have created a view that displays individual messages instead of threads (similar to traditional email). It appears that VBO is only capable of acting on entire threads as opposed to individual messages. When I attempt to manipulate individual message using VBO, all messages in the associated threads are acted upon.

It would be great to be able to manipulate individual messages using VBO for views that do not follow a thread based model.

Yep, we need message actions. Our actions are currently thread-related.
