Implementing this hook would automatically allow to output everything that goes to the watchdog to the FireBug console as well.

This patch adds support for hook_watchdog.

At the moment this is put into the 'general' tab, as plugin changes are needed to add an extra 'watchdog' tab.

I'm happy to help add the tab to the chrome plugin if needed, not too sure about FF plugin development though.

Honestly, both plugins could use a fresh rewrite. I used the current FF extension to learn AMD, but soon FF will be depreciating extensions so we will need to write that as a plugin, maybe even stop the firebug support. All that should wait till a new issue.
