Hey Guys,

I am planning to put a mp3 player on my site. Now, I am able to do stuff and all that.

I just wanted to know if I could store the mp3 files in the DB.

I am using http://flash-mp3-player.net

If anybody has already put a mp3 player on his site, please tell me where do you put the actual mp3 files? On Filesystem or in DB?

You can't upload files to DB.
You need to upload files to the server disk.

Yes , there is a mp3 player.

Download and install cck,emfield and swftools modules and give it a try!

I can recommend Mediafront player. It is views based to construct playlists of mp3 and any other media files like video.

It is Beta version yet though. There are still some crossbrowser bugs that are promised to be fixed in final version.
