Built entirely with Drupal, and contributed modules.
My favourite contributed modules are:
- Views (Cant' live without)
- Imagefield and imagecache to make something like http://www.thesimplest.net/pictures or http://www.thesimplest.net/iphone and also thumbnail preview of related articles (together with 'similar by terms' module) at the bottom of each article.
- CKEditor to ease article creation together with IMCE for adding images easily.
- Pathauto and Global Redirect to create SEO friendly URLs.
- Mollom to prevent auto spam.
Just wanted to say that Drupal is the best thing I ever found on the net and allows me to create a website even without a strong knowledge in programming. Various contributed modules made it very flexible and also prevent people from reinventing the wheel again and again. If I were to create my website from scratch without Drupal, I think I need at least a few years to create what TheSimplest.net it is today, which is created in months!

taxonomy menu module
- Taxonomy Menu Module is another useful module that I used to create menu from taxonomy, with quantity field shown just beside the name. When more posts get added the quantity/taxonomy gets updated automatically which is a plus :)
