If the same node type is enabled for multiple containers with free tagging option, one gets multiple free tagging fields without the container labels. This makes it very hard to identify which field belongs to which container.
This is unlike the regular tagging where each container is clearly labelled. Implementing this would be a great usability improvement to the category module.

Edit your container. Under Container Information, enter the name you want for the free-tagging field in Admin Title.
It appears the problem is that Category doesn't use the Title if you leave that blank?

venkat-rk commentedProblem solved for the moment. Great tip. Thank you very much. Now I need not try to remember the weight of each container (to figure out which free tagging field belong to which container) or worse, type each free tagging category from memory in each of the fields to let AJAX autocomplete show me the same.
I am leaving this to active because I still think it is a significant interface issue.
