I realize that CKEditor is the new version of FCKEditor. It supposedly performs better than FCKEditor and has more functionality.

It seems like many people are still using the FCKEditor and recommending it on their sites.

Is there any reason not to be using CKEditor?

I don't think every one is aware of CKEditor. I would recommend CKEditor over FCKEditor, if for no other reason it loads much faster.

CKEditor works so much better on my shared hosting it wouldn't recommend anything else. Installing it is a breeze. I use the media plugins and IMCE and I can now basically do away with EMfield for blogs and other simple sites.

I've always used FCKEditor... might try the CKEditor, it looks good!
