I want to add my own leaderboard banner, do I just put it in the themes/bluemarine/page.tpl.php in the body, or is there a more sophsticated method with drupal so I can place my own website leaderboard?

Just replace the logo.jpg, or whatever the header image is with your own image...

I don’t have a logo, I have a leaderboard.

A leaderboard replaced with a logo looks hideous, a leaderboard is large and wide while the logo just is just meant to be a logo.
