The use of l() in the module is from D5, not D6. That provokes that the comment number fragment is missing from the comment link. I have updated the use of l() to correct this issue.
I have included compatibility for the "talk" module as well, as it places the comments in another tab with a different url to access them.

I am afraid the compatibility with talk is incomplete, as the module can be active globally (as in the modules list page) but not for some content types (as it must be switched on by content type).
This revised version of the patch takes that into consideration.
