IIS Aid has been a work in progress for quite a few months now, but it is now ready to open up to the public;

http://www.iis-aid.com/

IIS Aid is a community site aimed at supporting the IIS web server platform, with a particular focus on open source intergration. The biggest jewel in the IIS Aid crown is the IIS Aid PHP Installer which is a free software package specifically developed for installing the PHP scripting language on IIS. I have been using PHP on IIS for several years, and have now put that knowledge into this installer to enable users to quickly and easily deploy a fast, scalable and secure PHP environment.

Anyway, please come and visit and I would really appreciate feedback either at IIS Aid or in this tread.

So, what did you do to get clean_url's working?

I'm set $conf['clean_url'] = 1; at the end of my settings.php file, and I am using ISAPI Rewrite to do the actual URL manipulation using a config file based on the one on this site. That's about it.

Thanks. I'm not 100% sold on the two layer menu either, and have been thinking I'll replace it with a single layer menu with a drop down for sub categories. I've outgrown Xoops for my personal needs too, but I still think it is a very valid choice for less computer savvy people.
